DistinguiSHE is a leadership learning experience that equips cohorts of high potential young women professionals who want to push the envelope. It is designed to help you cultivate the skills and the forward thinking for facing up to key challenges and leading positive change.
Over the 6 weeks programme, delivered virtually, you will learn skills to tackle unique obstacles/ challenges, boost your confidence and make a mark.
The Modules are:
- Leading yourself – Defining and putting your strengths to work.
- Leading teams – Delivering important results with and via others.
- Leading projects– Leading a leadership project to full potential
By the end of this insightful, rigorous and practical programme, you will:
- Have honed leadership skills-sets you can use immediately
- Have groomed a mentality to think better and differently
- Know how to lead and function well even against the odds
- Be ready and willing to pursue leadership responsibilities
- Be clearer how to pay your dues and set yourself apart too
- Gain a distinguiSHEd network of talented young African leaders
- 24- 27 yrs old, resident in Africa, fluent in English language
- 3- 5 years formal work experience (and evidence of having Accomplished something tangible in line with experience level)
- Two Reference letters (from people you have worked with that reflect your skills, personal attributes)
- Commitment to full participation throughout programme
